A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) BOBCAT
TOOLCAT UTILITY VEHICLE FROM WILLIAMS TRACTOR OF
FAYETTEVILLE IN THE AMOUNT OF $51,763.00 PLUS ANY
APPLICABLE TAXES, PURSUANT TO A NATIONAL JOINT POWERS
ALLIANCE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT, FOR USE BY
THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby authorizes the
purchase of one (1) Bobcat Toolcat utility vehicle from Williams Tractor of Fayetteville in the
amount of $51,763.00 plus any applicable taxes, pursuant to a National Joint Powers Alliance
cooperative purchasing agreement, for use by the Parks and Recreation Department.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one Tool Cat Utility Vehicle for Parks Development
RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council approve the purchase of one Bobcat Toolcat in the amount of $51,763
available off the NJPA contract 060311-CEC through Williams Tractor of Fayetteville, AR.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 681 is a 2006 Bobcat Toolcat Loader that was due for replacement in 2014, and was
pushed back to this year. It is now worn out and needs to be replaced.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of one Bobcat Toolcat in the amount of $51,763 available off
the NJPA contract 060311-CEC through Williams Tractor of Fayetteville, AR.
This purchase was presented to the Equipment Committee on April 14, 2015.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
There are sufficient funds in the budget for this purchase and the small shortfall in replacement
collected will be more than made up when the old unit sells on Gov Deals.
