COUNTRYSIDE FARM AND LAWN OF SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $68,607.76 PLUS ANY APPLICABLE TAX PURSUANT
TO THE NATIONAL JOINT POWERS ALLIANCE COOPERATIVE
PURCHASING AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby authorizes
the purchase of a John Deere 6115D cab tractor with H340 Farm Loader from Countryside Farm
and Lawn of Springdale, Arkansas in the amount of $68,607.76 plus any applicable tax pursuant
to the National Joint Powers Alliance cooperative purchasing agreement.
PASSED and APPROVED this 3rd day of March, 2015.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one John Deere Tractor for Waste Water Treatment Plant, East
RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council approve the purchase of one John Deere Cab Tractor 6115D with Farm
Loader H340 from Countryside Farm & Lawn of Springdale, AR.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 581 is a 2004 New Holland Tractor and was due for replacement last year, but was pushed
forward to 2015.
DISCUSSION:
A John Deere Cab Tractor 6115D with Farm Loader H340 is available off of the Arkansas State
Contract through the NJPA in the amount of $68,607.76.
This purchase was approved by the Equipment Committee on February 10, 2015.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
When 581 is sold on GovDeals the shortage in replacement collected will be more than made
up. Sufficient funds are available within this project for the purchase.
