BACKGROUND: Unit 551 is a 1995 Ford Tractor and was due for replacement 10 years ago, but has been pushed back each year. It is worn out and needs to be replaced now. Unit 564 is a 1999 Ford NH 8160 Tractor and was due for replacement in 2009, but was pushed back each year. It is now worn out and must be replaced this year. DISCUSSION: Both the New Holland T6.155 4WD Cab Tractor with Loader and New Holland Workmaster 55 4WD Tractor are available from Williams Tractor, Inc. of Fayetteville, AR off of the NJPA contract. This purchase was approved by the Equipment Committee on February 10, 2015. BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT: Although the replacement funds collected do not meet the purchase price of the new Tractors, when the old units are sold on GovDeals the small shortage in replacement collected will be covered.
