A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2015
DODGE RAM 1500 4X4 PICKUP TRUCK FROM LANDERS DODGE OF
BENTON, ARKANSAS IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,193.00 PURSUANT TO A
STATE PROCUREMENT CONTRACT FOR USE BY THE WATER AND
SEWER DIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby authorizes
the purchase of one (1) 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 pickup truck from Landers Dodge of Benton,
Arkansas in the amount of $20,193.00 pursuant to a state procurement contract for use by the
Water and Sewer Division.
PASSED and APPROVED this 3rd day of February, 2015.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one Dodge Ram 1500 for Water & Sewer division
RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council approve the purchase of one Dodge Ram 1500 44 pickup from Lander's
Dodge of Benton, AR in the amount of $20,193 for use by Water & Sewer division.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 2126 is a Chevy Silverado 4x4 that has 128,000 miles on it. It is worn out and due for
replacement. A suitable pickup is available off the state vehicle purchase contract.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of one Dodge Ram 1500 44 pickup from Lander's Dodge of
Benton, AR in the amount of $20,193 for use by the Water & Sewer division.
This purchase was approved by the Equipment Committee on January 13, 2015.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
It has been budgeted for 2015 and sufficient funds have been budgeted and collected for
replacement.
