CHEVROLET EQUINOX FROM CHEVROLET OF FAYETTEVILLE IN THE
AMOUNT OF $20,247.00 PURSUANT TO A STATE PROCUREMENT
CONTRACT FOR USE BY THE PARKING MANAGEMENT DIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section l: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby authorizes
the purchase of one (1) Chevrolet Equinox from Chevrolet of Fayetteville in the amount of
$20,247.00 pursuant to a state procurement contract for use by the Parking Management
Division.
PASSED and APPROVED this 3rd day of February, 2015.

SUBJECT: Purchase of one Chevy Equinox for use by Parking — Entertainment district
RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council approve the purchase of one Chevy Equinox from Chevrolet of Fayetteville of
Fayetteville, AR for the state contract price of $20,247.
BACKGROUND:
Unit 1110U is a 2003 Honda Element that was due for replacement in 2011, but has been
pushed back. It is now worn out and needs to go. A Chevrolet Equinox is available off the state
contract.
DISCUSSION:
Fleet recommends the purchase of one Chevy Equinox for the Arkansas State Vehicle purchase
contract price from Chevrolet of Fayetteville of Fayetteville, AR in the amount of $20,247.
This purchase was approved by the Equipment Committee on January 13, 2015.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Sufficient replacement funds have been budgeted and collected. Operating funds are budgeted.
