BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to
the contract with Garver, LLC in the amount of $9,293.75 to add bidding phase services for the water and
sewer relocations associated with Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department Project BB0414 -

SUBJECT: Approval of Amendment No. 1 to the Engineering contract with Garver LLC to
add Bidding Phase Services for the water/sewer relocations associated with
AHTD project BB0414 —1-49/Hwy 112
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the attached Amendment No. 1 to the Engineering Services Contract with Garver
LLC in the amount of $9,293.75 to add Bidding Phase Services to the design contract for the
water/sewer relocations associated with AHTD project BB0414 —1-49/Hwy 112.
BACKGROUND:
The final design contract with Garver LLC was approved by the City Council February 17, 2015.
The contract included surveys, design and assistance with environmental and easements. The
original contract states that "Bidding Services may be added by amendment".
The design is substantially complete and the bidding phase is schedule to begin in December
2015 subject to AHTD's final schedule.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Fayetteville is eligible for reimbursement from AHTD for 87.06% of the costs
associated with the project.
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Budgeted Funds are available in the approved 2015 CIP for Water/Sewer Relocations -Bond
Projects.
