ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby awards Bid No. LSC -2015 and
authorize a contract with Benchmark Construction in the amount of $37,000.00 for kitchen rehabilitation

SUBJECT: Approval of Purchase Order for CDBG Rehab Project
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the approval of the contract with Benchmark Construction and the purchase
order for 602 S. School
BACKGROUND:
LifeSource International (602 S. School) has been a long-time recipient of CDBG funds due to
their continued efforts to serve the city's low and moderate income (LMI) residents. '
DISCUSSION:
Kitchen improvements were needed in order to continue effectively serving Fayetteville's LMI
population. The improvements being made are listed below:
• Remove old kitchen cabinets
• Install new stainless steel cabinets
• Install stainless steel pot rack
• Touchup painting and cleanup
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Project cost is $37,000
