BEAVER WATERSHED ALLIANCE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT:
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A JOINT FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. GEOLOGICAL
SURVEY FOR WATER QUALITY SAMPLING ON THE WEST FORK OF THE WHITE RIVER AT A
COST TO THE CITY OF $7,000.00, TO APPROVE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE
BEAVER WATERSHED ALLIANCE TO FUND THE CITY'S PORTION OF THE JOINT FUNDING
AGREEMENT, AND TO APPROVE A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a joint funding
agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey for water quality sampling on the West Fork of the White River
at a cost to the City of $7,000.00.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a Memorandum of
Agreement with the Beaver Watershed Alliance to provide for the payment of the City's portion of the joint
funding agreement.
Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a budget adjustment,
a copy of which is attached to this Resolution, in the amount of $7,000.00 recognizing revenue from the Beaver
Watershed Alliance to pay the City's portion of the joint funding agreement.
