A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID #14-02 AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE FROM ASPHALT STRIPING SERVICE, LLC OF
REFLECTORIZED PAINT MARKINGS IN VARIABLE AMOUNTS FOR THE
TRANSPORTATION DIVISION AS NEEDED THROUGH THE END OF
CALENDAR YEAR 2014
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby awards Bid
#14-02 and authorizes the purchase from Asphalt Striping Service, LLC of reflectorized paint
markings in variable amounts for the Transportation Division as needed through the end of
calendar year 2014.
PASSED and APPROVED this 7th day of January, 2014.

Subject: Bid #14-02, Reflectorized Paint Markings
PROPOSAL:
A resolution awarding Bid #14-02 and authorizing the purchase from Asphalt Striping Service, LLC of
reflectorized paint markings, in variable amounts, for the Transportation Division as needed through the end of
calendar year 2014.
RECOMMENDATION:
The purchase of bulk construction materials and services is necessary to maintain current infrastructure and to
implement projects outlined in the 2013-2017 Capital Improvements Program and annual budget and work
prop -am. Sealed bids in accordance with State statutes, City ordinances, and purchasing procedures were
publicly read and the results are attached to this memo.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Funds for the acquisition of materials and services have been budgeted in various capital projects within the
Sales Tax Capital Improvements Fund and Street Fund operating programs.
