RECOMMENDATION: Unit #589 is a 2005 Mower conditioner that was due for replacement in 2011 but was pushed back. It is worn out and needs to be replaced now. Unit #5000 is a 2007 mower conditioner that was due for replacement in 2013 but was pushed back. It also needs to be replaced now. These mower conditioners are available from Countryside Farm and Lawn of Springdale, AR in the amount of $22,128.26 each plus tax. Fleet recommends the purchase of two mower conditioners off state NJPA contract from Countryside Farm and Lawn of Springdale, AR for a total amount of $48,572. BUDGET IMPACT: Both these units were budgeted for on the capital and operating sides. Sufficient replacement funds have not been collected, but the shortfall- will be covered by a replacement "credit" on generator 9025 which was moved out of motor pool last year. This credit is excess replacement funds collected by Fleet but not used to replace the generator. RESOLUTION NO.
