A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $22,529.00 REPRESENTING DONATION REVENUE TO THE
YVONNE RICHARDSON COMMUNITY CENTER FOR OCTOBER 2014
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution, in the total amount of
$22,529.00 representing donation revenue to the Yvonne Richardson Community Center for
October 2014.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby expresses
its sincere appreciation for the donations.
PASSED and APPROVED this 2nd day of December, 2014.

SUBJECT: Recognition of donations to Yvonne Richardson Community Center (YRCC)
RECOMMENDATION:
Parks and Recreation staff recommend the approval of a Budget Adjustment in the amount of
$22,529 recognizing and allocating donation revenue from citizens and businesses made to the
Yvonne Richardson Community Center (YRCC) in October 2014.
BACKGROUND:
A variety of citizen groups and businesses made donations in October 2014 to be used to
maintain free YRCC programming or to improve equipment and facilities.
DISCUSSION:
Approval allows for the recognition of funds, along with allocation of funds toward their intended
usage, according to the donating party. This includes funding free programs for at -risk youth,
program equipment needs, and the purchase of new gym flooring. (See attached detail list of
donations.)
BUDGET/STAFF IMPACT:
Recognize YRCC donations in the amount of $22,529.
