A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $28,202.00 REPRESENTING DONATION REVENUE TO THE
YVONNE RICHARDSON COMMUNITY CENTER FOR THE FIRST HALF
OF 2014
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the total amount of $28,202.00
representing donation revenue to the Yvonne Richardson Community Center for the first half of
2014.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby expresses
its sincere appreciation for the donations.
PASSED and APPROVED this 15th day of July, 2014.

SUBJECT: Recognition of donations to Yvonne Richardson Community Center (YRCC)
RECOMMENDATION:
Parks and Recreation staff recommend the approval of a Budget Adjustment in the amount of
$28,202 recognizing and allocating donation revenue from citizens and business made to the
Yvonne Richardson Community Center (YRCC) during the first half of 2014.
BACKGROUND:
A variety of citizen groups and businesses have made several donations during the first half of
2014 to be used to maintain free YRCC programming or to improve equipment and facilities.
DISCUSSION:
Approval allows for the recognition of funds along with the allocation of funds toward their
intended usage, according to the donating party. This includes funding free programs for at -risk
youth, program equipment needs, and the purchase of new gym flooring. (See the attached
detail list of donations.)
