That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby awards Bid #14-09 and authorizes the purchase of drainage pipe for varying unit prices from various vendors, as shown in the attached Exhibit "A", as needed through the end of calendar year 2014. No bids were received for concrete drainage pipe, as shown on lines 1-26 of the attached bid tabulation. Concrete drainage pipe will likely be re -bid in the near future. RECOMMENDATION: The purchase of bulk construction materials and services is necessary to maintain current infrastructure and to implement projects outlined in the 2013-2017 Capital Improvements Program and annual budget and work program. Sealed bids in accordance with State statutes, City ordinances, and purchasing procedures were publicly read and the results are attached to this memo. BUDGET IMPACT: Funds for the acquisition of materials and services have been budgeted in various capital projects within the Sales Tax Capital Improvements Fund and Street Fund operating programs.
