A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $60,600.00 RECOGNIZING REVENUE FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO SIDEWALKS ON MOUNTAIN STREET AND
COLLEGE AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the total amount of $60,600.00
recognizing revenue for improvements to sidewalks on Mountain Street and College Avenue.

A resolution approving a budget adjustment in the amount of $60,600 recognizing revenue for improvements to
sidewalks on Mountain Street and College Avenue.
RE UMIVIENffiA_TION•
The Planning Commission approved a request for a temporary parking lot on property located on the northwest
corner of College Avenue and Mountain Street with variances to allow for delayed landscaping and sidewalk
improvements. Due to non-performance by the applicant, guarantee funds were deposited in an interest bearing
escrow account for the city to construct the improvements.
The Transportation Division overlay/sidewalk projects list for 2012 (Res. No. 215-11) included Center Street,
Mountain Street, and College Avenue sidewalk improvements. The funds received from the guarantee will go
towards the construction costs for completing the required improvements along the frontage of the parking lot.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Construction of the sidewalk, curb and related improvements to sidewalks was funded by the Sidewalk
Improvements capital project. Revenue funds contributed will reimburse the capital project.
