A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $18,626.00 REPRESENTING DONATION REVENUE TO THE
ANIMAL SERVICES DIVISION FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER OF 2012
AND INCLUDING A GRANT AWARD FROM THE ASPCA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $4,500.00 TO FUND THE ANIMAL SHELTER'S TRANSPORT
PROGRAM FOR 2013
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the total amount of $18,626.00
representing donation revenue to the Animal Services Division for the fourth quarter of 2012 and
including a grant award from the ASPCA in the amount of $4,500.00 to fund the animal shelter's
transport program for 2013.

Subject: Approval of a Budget Adjustment for Animal Services Division
PROPOSAL:
Animal Services would like to recognize donation revenue from the fourth quarter of 2012. These funds are
donated by private citizens and organizations to benefit the animals cared for by Animal Services. This
includes a grant from the ASCPA in the amount of $4,500 to fund the shelter's transport program for 2013.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of a budget adjustment to budget the Animal Services Donation Revenue for the
fourth quarter of 2012.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Recognize Animal Shelter Donations in the amount of $18,626.00
