A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $3,314.82 REPRESENTING HAZMAT SERVICES REVENUE
RECEIVED THROUGH AUGUST 2013 AND INCREASING THE RELATED
EXPENSE BUDGET
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the total amount of $3,314.82
representing hazmat services revenue received through August 2013 and increasing the related
expense budget.

Subject: Approval of the Fire Department utililization of hazmat services revenue from
Washington County
PROPOSAL:
In accordance with City Ordinance: "33.050 Response to Hazardous Materials
Incidents" and Ordinance No. 5591:
The City of Fayetteville will be receiving $3,314.82 of hazmat services revenue from
Washington County. The requested budget adjustment will recognize this revenue of
$3,314.82 from a hazardous materials service response call for Clark Contractors on June
19, 2013.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the approval of a budget adjustment in the amount of $3,314.82 to
recognize hazmat services revenue received in August, 2013 and increase the related
expense budget.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Increase expenses to correspond with hazmat services revenue received through August,
2013.
