A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $6,610.00 TO RECOGNIZE HAZMAT SERVICES REVENUE
THROUGH AUGUST 2013 AND TO INCREASE THE RELATED EXPENSE
BUDGET
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the total amount of $6,610.00
to recognize hazmat services revenue through August 2013 and to increase the related expense
budget.

This Budget Adjustment will take funding from the Haz-Mat Revenue Account-1010.0001.4401.08 which will reflect
revenue from Hazmat Services from Washington County for Parkcrest Builders Hazmat Response on June 20, 2013
of $6,610 and place it in 1010.3040.5218.01--Haz-Mat Equipment to increase the corresponding expense budget.

Subject: Approval of the Fire Department utililization of hazmat services revenue from
Washington County
PROPOSAL:
In accordance with City Ordinance: 1133.050 Response to Hazardous Materials
Incidents" and Ordinance No. 5591:
The City of Fayetteville will be receiving $6,610.00 of hazmat services revenue from
Washington County. The requested budget adjustment will recognize this revenue of
$6,610.00 from a hazardous materials service response call for Parkcrest Builders on June
20, 2013.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the approval of a budget adjustment in the amount of $6,610.00 to
recognize hazmat services revenue received in August, 2013 and increase the related
expense budget.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Increase expenses to correspond with hazmat services revenue received through August,
2013.
