HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-12 RESOLUTIONRESOLUTION NO. 93-12 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,900.00 REPRESENTING DONATION REVENUE TO THE FAYETTEVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN SUPPORT OF OFFICER SERVICE AWARDS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the amount of $2,900.00 representing donation revenue to the Fayetteville Police Department in support of officer service awards. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby expresses its sincere gratitude for these donations. PASSED and APPROVED this 15th day of May, 2012. During the first fourth quarter of 2012, the Police Department received donations totaling $2,900.00. The checks were deposited into the City's General Fund and are tracked through the City's Project Accounting System to insure that the donors intended purpose is met. All purchases utilizing these funds must follow the City of Fayetteville Purchasing Policy. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends acceptance of these donations to the Fayetteville Police Department and approval of the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $2,900.00. If you should have any comments or questions regarding these donations, please contact me at extension 500. BUDGET IMPACT: Increase expense budgets to correspond with Police Department donations revenue received during first quarter 2012.
