A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $4,928.00 REPRESENTING DONATION REVENUE TO THE
RANGER'S PANTRY PET FOOD BANK THROUGH THE HOWLIDAY
DONATION DRIVE, MATCHING FUNDS FROM AN ANONYMOUS
DONOR, DONATION REVENUE TO THE SENIOR GIVING TREE EVENT,
AND EXPRESSING GRATITUDE FOR THE DONATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the amount of $4,928.00
representing donation revenue to the Ranger's Pantry Pet Food Bank through the Howliday
Donation Drive, matching funds from an anonymous donor, and donation revenue to the Senior
Giving Tree event.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby expresses
its sincere gratitude for these donations.
PASSED and APPROVED this 21st day of February, 2012.

PROPOSAL:
Community Services would like to recognize donation revenue that was received from citizens in 2011 for the
Ranger's Pantry Pet Food Bank through the Purrfect Howliday Donation Drive, matching funds from an
anonymous donor, and 2011 donation revenue from citizens for the Senior Giving Tree event.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of a budget adjustment to budget the Community Services Donation Revenue for
Ranger's Pantry Pet Food Bank and the Senior Giving Tree event.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Increase the Community Outreach Projects account by $4928 for Ranger's Pantry Pet Food Bank and the Senior
Giving Tree event.
