During the third and fourth quarter of 2012, the Police Department received donations totaling $1,600.00. The checks were deposited into the City's General Fund and are tracked through the City's Project Accounting System to insure that the donors intended purpose is met. All purchases utilizing these funds must follow the City of Fayetteville Purchasing Policy. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends acceptance of these donations to the Fayetteville Police Department and approval of the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $1,600.00. If you should have any comments or questions regarding these donations, please contact me at extension 500.
