A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $15,000.00 RECOGNIZING REVENUE FROM THRASH
DEVELOPMENT FOR ITS CONTRIBUTION TOWARD IMPROVEMENTS
TO THE EAST AVENUE AND MEADOW STREET SIDEWALKS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the amount of $15,000.00
recognizing revenue from Thrash Development for its contribution toward improvements to the
East Avenue and Meadow Street sidewalks.

Subject: East Avenue — Meadow Street Sidewalk Improvements
PROPOSAL:
A resolution approving a budget adjustment in the amount of $15,000 recognizing revenue from Thrash
Development for its contribution toward improvements to East Avenue — Meadow Street sidewalks.
RECOMMENDATION:
Construction of a 231 linear foot sidewalk on the east side of East Avenue between Meadow and Center streets,
and construction of a 176 linear foot sidewalk on the south side of Meadow Street between East and College
avenues was completed in July 2012. Transportation Division crews also installed new curb, brick pavers, tree
grates, and street lights. Thrash Development contributed $15,000 toward the project as well as purchased three
trees.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Construction of the sidewalk, curb and related improvements to East Avenue — Meadow Street sidewalks was
funded by the Sidewalk Improvements capital project.
