A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $43,000.00 MOVING UNUSED FUNDS DESIGNATED FOR
THE POLICE RECORDING SYSTEM TO THE POLICE BUILDING
REMODELING PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the amount of $43,000.00
moving unused funds designated for the police recording system to the police building
remodeling project.

Subject: Budget Adjustment for Police Building Remodel in the amount of $43,000
PROPOSAL:
Currently, Capital Improvements Program (CIP) funds are budgeted for the replacement of the Police
Recording System in the amount of $43,000. These funds will not be spent because the Washington County
Department of Emergency Management purchased a new Recording System for use in our Central Dispatch
Division. Staff proposes to move these unused funds to the Police Building Remodel project for the upstairs
renovation/expansion of the briefing room, squad room, supervisor offices, and locker rooms.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of a budget adjustment moving unused CIP project funds from the Police
Recording System project to the Police Building Remodel project in the amount of $43,000
BUDGET IMPACT:
None. Reallocates existing budgeted funds from one project to another.
