Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby expresses its gratitude to the donors of these generous donations. PASSED and APPROVED this 20th day of December, 2011. Recently, the Police Department received donations totaling $1,800.00 to support our annual service award banquet. The checks were deposited into the City's General Fund and are tracked through the City's Project Accounting System to insure that the donors intended purpose is met. All purchases utilizing these funds must follow the City of Fayetteville Purchasing Policy. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends acceptance of these donations to the Fayetteville Police Department and approval of the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $1,800.00. If you should have any comments or questions regarding these donations, please contact me at extension 500. BUDGET IMPACT: Increase expense budgets to correspond with Police Department donations revenue received during 2011.
