A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN EQUAL PROPERTY EXCHANGE OF
ABOUT 1,300 SQUARE FEET WITH JAMES E. LINDSEY ALONG THE
BORDER OF BRYCE DAVIS PARK AND THE LINKS OF FAYETTEVILLE,
TO AUTHORIZE MAYOR JORDAN TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY
DEED AND TO APPROVE A LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby
approves an equal property exchange of about 1,300 square feet with James E. Lindsey along the
border of Bryce Davis Park and The Links of Fayetteville, authorizes Mayor Jordan to execute
the necessary deed, and approves a lot line adjustment.

Subject: Property Line Adjustment for Bryce Davis Park

Parks and Recreation is seeking approval of a property line adjustment for Bryce Davis Park. This
park is located at 1595 N. Dartmouth Avenue west of 1-540 and north of Wedington Drive.
A condition of approval at the time of parkland dedication of the 17 acre addition required the owner
of the adjacent land, The Links at Fayetteville, to install a fence between the golf course and the park
land. During construction of the fence a small portion of park land, approximately 1,307 square feet,
was included on the adjacent land owner's side. Additionally, the current property line to the north
traverses through the existing pond instead of providing access around it. The property line
adjustment will exchange an equal amount of land (approximately 1,307 square feet) around the pond
currently owned by The Links at Fayetteville for the land currently owned by the City of Fayetteville
that has been fenced off and included in the Links development.

equal amount of land with the adjacent land owner of The Links at Fayetteville.
BUDGET 1MFACT:
There is no budget impact with this property line adjustment.
