A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $750.00 REPRESENTING REVENUE FROM PUBLIC ACCESS
TELEVISION FEES COLLECTED BY THE PUBLIC ACCESS TELEVISION
CONTRACTOR
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves a
budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A", in the amount of $750.00
representing revenue from public access television fees collected by the public access television
contractor.

BUDGET ADJUSTMENT DESCRIPTION / JUSTIFICATION
The Communication Department would like to recognize revenue from the Public Access Television's first quarter
services. These funds come from fees for business services to the City of Fayetteville through the contractor Your
Media in the performance of the public access services contract with the City of Fayetteville. Specifically, the fees
come from dubbing of DVDs, sales of blank DVDs, and fees from non -Fayetteville Washington County residents to
take classes.

Subject: Approval of a Budget Adjustment for Government Channel
PROPOSAL:
The Communication Department would like to recognize revenue from the Public Access Television first
quarter of 2011 for Public Access Television services. These funds come from fees for business services to the
City of Fayetteville through the contractor Your Media in the performance of the public access services contract
with the City of Fayetteville. Specifically, the fees came from dubbing of DVDs, sales of blank DVDs, and fees
from non -Fayetteville Washington County residents to take classes.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of a budget adjustment to budget the public access fees for the first quarter of 2011.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Increase the Government Channel Division budget by $750.
