These checks were deposited into the City's General Fund and will be tracked through the City's Project Accounting System to insure that the donors intended purpose is met. Donations received during the first quarter of 2010 are as follows: $3,520 for support of police officer recognition and $200 to support general law enforcement activities. The attached budget adjustment will recognize revenue and establish an expense budget resulting from the various donations received during this period. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the attached budget adjustment to recognize donated funds to the Police Department in the amount of $3,720. BUDGET IMPACT: None.
