A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE ATTACHED BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
OF $6,600.00 FOR THE APRIL, 2010 FAYETTEVILLE FORWARD EVENT
WHEREAS, $3,000.00 in donations were received in 2009 for Fayetteville Forward, but
were not recognized; and
WHEREAS, another $3,600.00 in donations have been received in 2010 for Fayetteville
Forward; and
WHEREAS, this $6,600.00 revenue donated for Fayetteville Forward should be
appropriated to fund the April 2010 Fayetteville Forward event.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves
the attached Budget Adjustment recognizing donations to the City for Fayetteville Forward and
appropriating $6,600.00 for the April 2010 Fayetteville Forward event.

Subject: Approval of a Budget Adjustment for Fayetteville Forward event donations
PROPOSAL:
To approve a Budget Adjustment budgeting the Donation Revenue from 2009 and 2010 for economic
development and the Fayetteville Forward event in the amount $6,600.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of a budget adjustment to budget the donations made for the Fayetteville Forward
event to be held in April 2010 in the amount $6,600.
BUDGET IMPACT:
Increase the Fayetteville Forward project budget by $6,600.

Justification of this Increase:
Increase project budget by accepting donations from

Fayetteville Forward event. The event expense includes
meal, printing and advertising costs.

In 2009, $3,000 in donations were received for Fayetteville
Forward but not recognized. Another $3,600 in donations
has been received in 2010 that is being recognized.
