A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2010 CITY BUDGET BY APPROVING A
BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO AUTHORIZE EXPENDITURES AND
RECOGNIZE REVENUE IN A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $640.00 RELATED TO
A FAYETTEVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESSURE POINT CONTROL
TACTICS TRAINING CLASS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby amends the
2010 city budget by approving a budget adjustment, a copy of which is attached to this
Resolution as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein as if set out word for word, to authorize
expenditures and recognize revenue related to a Fayetteville Police Department pressure point
control tactics training class in a total amount of $640.00.

Purchase of Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) manuals for class provided for area law enforcement agencies in
the amount of $640.00. Recongize the registration fee for each participant totaling $640.00.
JUSTIFICATION TO DECREASE PROJECT / ITEM (OR RECOGNIZING REVENUE):
Our Sergeant is required by his certification to provide two classes per year. This class is a train the trainer class.

Subject: Approval of a Budget Adjustment to recgonize revenue and expense for a Pressure Point Control
Class in the amount of $640.00
PROPOSAL*
The Fayetteville Police Department will host a Train the Trainer Pressure Point Control Tactics class.
One of our sergeants is certificed to conduct this class and as a requirement of his certification he must conduct
two classes per year. This class is open to other agencies and we will collect $640.00 in registration fees and
spend the same amount to purchase the training maunals.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of a budget adjustment to increase Police Miscellaneous revenue and increase Publications
and Dues expense account to purchase the manuals.
BUDGET IMPACT:
None. The revenue will cover the expense.
