This property is a part of the CDBG Public Facility Lease Program. Properties acquired with CDBG funds are made available through an application process to non -profits that provide services to low/mod residents in the City of Fayetteville. The building is currently leased to Arts Live Theater. This project is estimated to create six temporary jobs. Improvements to this project will increase the energy efficiency of the building. Improvements to be made: • Installation of white membrane energy efficient roof with insulation RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of PO for this project, located at 818 Sang Ave. BUDGET IMPACT: Project cost is approximately $34,859 RESOLUTION NO. The rehabilitation will include: window replacement; roof, gutter and subfloor repair; HVAC energy efficient upgrade; plumbing repair; electrical upgrade and siding. This facility was acquired with CDBG funds to be utilized as a location for the CDBG Public Facilities Lease Program. The tenants are selected through a competitive process that evaluates factors such as percentage of beneficiaries that are low- and moderate -income and how many CDBG National Objectives are met. 570.201(c): Public Facilities and Improvements Benefit LMI persons $65,000 $65,000 Energy Efficiency Rehabilitation — 2052 S Garland CDBG-R funds in the amount of $47,702.00 are going to be utilized to upgrade to more energy efficient lighting and to replace water heaters and HVAC with energy efficient models.
