A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR
THE FAYETTEVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$950.00 TO RECOGNIZE DONATION REVENUES FROM LOCAL
BUSINESSES TO FUND FIRE EMPLOYEE SERVICE AWARDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas
hereby approves a budget adjustment for the Fayetteville Fire Department in the
amount of $950.00 to recognize donation revenues from local businesses to fund

Subject: Fire Department Donations
Background
From time to time, the fire department receives donations from businesses and other
private donors to support our employee recognition program, special and high-tech
equipment purchases and for the good and well being of the department.
Discussion
This year we have received donations totaling $ 450.00 for the aforementioned causes.
The donations have been deposited into the City's General Fund and will be audited
through the City's Project Accounting System to assure proper usage by the
department.
Recommendation
The fire department staff recommends the acceptance and approval of these donations
to the department for the use in the employee recognition program.
