The City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby amends the 2009 city budget, pursuant to the attached budget adjustment which is incorporated into this Resolution by reference as if set out word for word herein, to recognize donations to the Fayetteville Police Department in the amount of $1,980.00. Discussion In November 2009, the Police Department received several checks totaling $1,980.00 from various businesses to recognize and support our officer service awards program. The checks were deposited into the City's General Fund and will be tracked through the City's Project Accounting System to insure that the donors intended purpose is met. Recommendation Staff recommends acceptance of these donations to the Fayetteville Police Department and approval of a budget adjustment in the amount of $1,980 for their intended purposes.
