Discussion In December 2008, the Police Department received several checks totaling $4,880.00 from various businesses to recognize and support our officer service awards program. The checks were deposited into the City's General Fund and will be tracked through the City's Project Accounting System to insure that the donors intended purpose is met. Recommendation Staff recommends acceptance of these donations to the Fayetteville Police Department in the total amount of $4,880.00 and approval of their intended purposes.
