RESOLUTION NO. 65-08
A RESOLUTION TO WAIVE THE BUILDING PERMIT FEE
AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL FEES FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE PEACE AT HOME FAMILY
SHELTER
WHEREAS, Peace At Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting victims
of domestic abuse and their children by providing safe, transitional housing; and
WHEREAS, it serves the public interest and is beneficial to the City as a whole that
Peace At Home provides such essential and safe transitional housing in Fayetteville.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas finds that waiving
the building permit fee and all other developmental fees normally required by the Unified
Development Code for Peace At Home for its construction of its new family shelter serves the
public interest and is beneficial to the City as a whole.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby waives the
normal building permit fee and all other developmental fees normally required by the Unified
Development Code for Peace At Home for its construction of its new family shelter located in
Fayetteville, Arkansas during the year 2008.
PASSED and APPROVED this 18th day of March, 2008.
