A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION 20-08 TO
REMOVE THE APPROVAL TO HIRE A REPLACEMENT
PART-TIME PARK PATROL OFFICER
WHEREAS, Alderman Ferrell who voted with the majority when Resolution No. 20-08
passed on February 5, 2008, moved to reconsider the vote relative to the part-time Park Patrol
Officer, and the motion passed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS•
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby amends
Resolution 20-08 of February 5, 2008, by removing the approval for the Chief of Police to hire a
replacement part-time Park Patrol Officer

There was also a motion to reconsider the Park Patrol position that was approved on February 5, 2008. Upon vote of
30\ (90 the reconsideration of the position, the position was not approved. Therefore the Park Patrol position can not be filled at
