A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000.00 TO RECOGNIZE
REVENUE FROM AN ARKANSAS PARKS AND TOURISM
OUTDOOR RECREATION GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Fayetteville has accepted an Arkansas Parks and Tourism
Outdoor Recreation grant in the amount of $100,000.00 for Eagle Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS*
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby approves
the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $100,000.00 to recognize the revenue from the
Eagle Park Grant.

This adjustment will replace the Fund Balance reserves

Dear Mayor Coody:
It is my pleasure to inform you that the Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory
Committee of the Department of Parks and Tourism has recommended that the City of
Fayetteville be awarded a grant based on their FY 2008 application for matching -grant
funds.
It am pleased to award the City of Fayetteville a matching grant in the amount of
$100,000.00 to assist in the construction of playground, ball -field, pavilion, walkways,
and ADA parking at Eagle Park.
The Department of Parks and Tourism will contact you in the near future to
explain our procedure for the awards. Best wishes for much success with your endeavor.
