A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST THAT THE BUDGET TO BE
SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL BY THE
ADMINISTRATION BE BALANCED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS.
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby requests
that the proposed annual budget submitted to the City Council for consideration by the City
Administration be balanced in that its underlying, reasonable projections of annual revenue to be
received and annual expenditures to be made shall be equal or that the projected revenue exceed
projected expenditures. Revenues and expenditures tied to bond issues (including taxes, bond
proceeds, expenditures for bond projects, etc.) shall not be considered Expenditures to complete
capital projects already funded in the current year shall not be considered except for any
additional, new expenditures to be paid for with new revenue.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby requests
that the General Fund budget that is submitted to the City Council be balanced pursuant to the
same provisions as above.
