Paula Fayetteville Evergreen Cemetery Board of Directors Fayetteville, AR 72701 September 14, 2007 To the Fayetteville City Council; Please remove the historic Fayetteville Evergreen Cemetery from inclusion in the Cultural Arts District as outlined as part of the Downtown Master Plan. The area is identified in the map submitted for approval at the last meeting, outlined in yellow, just west of the Downtown Master Plan boundary, and bordered by Whiteside Street on the north. We have not been involved or notified of this process at all and thus would be at a loss for the relevance of inclusion. As individuals and as a board, we are very supportive of culture and the arts, however our energies and time are limited and involvement would require both at a very minimum. I do not yet have the final signed copy of the resolution and map yet from the City Clerk. They said it would probably be tomorrow. The new City policy is that all documents must be requested from the City Clerks office (575-8223). This is intended to insure that the most current and accurate info is given to the public.
