RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends approval of RFP 05-32 to install playground at Yvonne Richardson Community Center(YRCC) BACKGROUND The YRCC playground equipment had become unsafe for use under the regulations governing public playground areas. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding was utilized to remove the equipment. The new playground equipment would provide one of the most current play enironments for the children in the SE Fayetteville. DISCUSSION This project would meet one of the City's Guiding Principals of revitilizing SE Fayetteville. The playground equipment will provide safe and health activities for the children in community. CDBG funding would be used to fund this most needed project.
