Request for Public 1-learing on a Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity for S & K Carriages
Recommendation:
The council should schedule a public hearing to determine if a Certificate of
Public Convenience and Necessity should be issued to S & K Carriages.
Background:
Fayetteville City Ordinance §117.81 requires operators of nonmotorized
passenger transport services to obtain a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
prior to operation.
Discussion:
Attached is a copy of Mr. Schreckhise's application for his certificate.
Mr. Schreckhise is making this request for up to 4 carriages. He will he providing
proof of insurance and his Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.

THE OPERATION OF A NON -MOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION
SERVICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas
hereby grants a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to S Sr Ki
Carriages for the operation of a Non -Motorized Transportation Service.
