BACKGROUND In order to secure a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) loan with the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission (previously the Arkansas Soil and Water Conservation Commission), the City Council must adopt a resolution stating that the City of Fayetteville is a Designated Management Agency for Wastewater Collection and Treatment of Domestic Wastewater. DISCUSSION This resolution is required pursuant to Section 208 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act of 1972 as amended. It requires that the Designated Management Agency be formally identified as such and execute an annual plan update. The City's Capital Improvement Plan, wastewater system master plan, and annual budget meet the requirements of the annual plan update. BUDGET IMPACT Failure to adopt this resolution will result in the City being unable to obtain RLF funding. DsigMigtAgency Retinlwian • • RESOLUTION NO.
