HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-03 RESOLUTION• • • RESOLUTION NO. 10-03 A RESOLUTION TO WAIVE THE BUILDING PERMIT FEE AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL FEES FOR HOMES - TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY WHEREAS, Habitat For Humanity is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting lower income people to build and own their own affordable homes; and WHEREAS, it serves thc public interest and is beneficial to the City as a whole that Habitat For Humanity helps to provide such affordable housing in Fayetteville. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILI.E, ARKANSAS: Section I. That thc City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas finds that waiving the building permit fee and all other developmental fees normally required by the Unified Development Ordinance for the Habitat For Humanity home construction project serves the public interest and is beneficial to the City as a whole. Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas hereby waives the normal building permit fcc and all other developmental fees normally required by the Unified Development Ordinance for the Habitat For Humanity home construction projects located in Fayetteville, Arkansas during the year 2003.
