RESOLUTION NO, 2-02
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT
ENDORSEMENT OF PINNACLE FOODS CORPORATION TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE ADVANTAGE ARKANSAS PROGRAM,
ALSO KNOWN AS THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business to participate in
the Advantage Arkansas Program and benefit from the refunds/ tax credits as
provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program regulations of 1993, as amended;
and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on a specific form available
from the Arkansas Department of Economic Development; and
WHEREAS, Pinnacle Foods Corporation, Located at 1100 W. 15th Street,
Fayetteville, Arkansas has sought to participate in the program and more specifically
has requested benefits accruing from the expansion of the specified facility; and
WHEREAS, Pinnacle Foods Corporation has agreed to provide the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas all information necessary for compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby endorses Pinnacle Foods Corporation
to participate in the Advantage Arkansas Program and benefit from the refunds/ tax
credits as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program regulations of 1993, as
amended.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the Arkansas Department of
Finance and Administration to refund local sales and use taxes to Pinnacle Foods
Corporation to which they may be entitled under the Advantage Arkansas Program.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAYETTEVILLE CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT
OF BUSINESS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ADVANTAGE ARKANSAS PROGRAM (ALSO KNOWN AS THE ARKANSAS
ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM - ACT 947 OF 1993 as amended).
WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business to participate in the Advantage Arkansas
Program and benefit from the refunds/tax credits as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program
Regulations of 1993 as amended; and
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific form available from the Arkansas Department of
Economic Development; and
WHEREAS, Pinnacle Foods Corporation located at 1 100 W. 1St" Street has sought to participate in the
program and more specifically has requested benefits accruing from expansion of the specific facility; and
WHEREAS, Pinnacle Foods Corporation has agreed to furnish the local government all necessary
information for compliance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. Pinnacle Foods Corporation be endorsed by the City of Fayetteville for benefits from the refunds/tax
credits as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993 as amended.
2. The Department of Finance and Administration be authorized to refund local sales and use taxes to
Pinnacle Foods Corporation, as related to the Advantage Arkansas Program.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
