FOR THE SALE OF A 1985 OSHKOSH FIRE CRASH -RESCUE VEHICLE Staff requests approval to accept the bid of $38,500.00 from Crash Rescue Equipment Service, Inc for the sale of the Airport's 1985 Oshkosh Fire Crash -Rescue Vehicle, Unit #20 This 1985 Oshkosh Truck has not been used since the purchase of the 1998 E -One Titan. However, the vehicle has continued to generate costs to the city through regularly scheduled maintenance and repairs. The vehicle was advertised in both local newspapers and national magazines. Invitations to bid were sent to six bidders, but only one bid was received from Crash Rescue Equipment Service, Inc Since this vehicle is the property of the Airport being purchased with a Federal Airport Improvement Grant in 1986 from the Federal Aviation Administration, the proceeds from the sale of the fire truck will be processed into the Airport Fund.
