That the City Council hereby approves Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $23,838 for the construction contract with Harrison Davis Construction for the Extension of the Earnest Lancaster Drive; and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said change order for said project. The airport's neighbor on the east side, Mr. Arthur Miller, expressed concerns about possible flooding onto his property by drainage which was engineered to runoff on the east side of the new road In an effort to avoid possible problems of runoff after the project has been completed, the road was redesigned to drain all water back unto the airport property. A request for 90% funding with AIP (Airport Improvement Program) funds will be requested from the FAA. Earthwork: 520 linear ft of additional drainage ditch cutting and ,grading per new profile drawings and grades for the new concrete ditch. 2. Concrete Work: 3' and 2' concrete ditch bottoms with concrete sides stacked per details on sheet no. 7, contraction points, expansion joints, weeps, and fine grade complete.
