HomeMy WebLinkAbout13-00 RESOLUTIONRESOLUTION NO. 13-00 • MJCROPTLMED A RESOLUTION TO REIMBURSE THE PLAINTIFFS IN JAMES HARP, ET AL V GRIFFIN INDUSTRIES, INC., U.S. DISTRICT COURT, WESTERN DISTRICT OF ARKANSAS, CASE NO. 99- 5075 FOR SETTLEMENT EXPENSES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,500. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. That the City Council hereby approves reimbursing the Plaintiffs in James Harp, et al. v. Griffin Industries, Inc., U.S. District Court, Western District of Arkansas, Case No. 99-5075 for settlement expenses incurred by the Plaintiffs in an amount not to exceed $7,500. Section 2. The amount shall be paid to the attorney for the Plaintiffs upon verification that amounts have been paid for settlement expenses from an attorney trust account and will be paid in proportion to the amount of each Plaintiffs contribution to that account. r co§v'IAND APPROVED this 1s` day of February , 2000.
