RESOLUTION NO 71- 9 9
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FUNDING FOR FIRST NIGHT
FAYETTEVILLE, A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $12,000, FOR ACTIVITIES FOR NEW
YEARS 1999.
WHEREAS, First Night Fayetteville '98 was a great success; and,
WHEREAS, The City of Fayetteville would like to celebrate the beginning of the new
century; and,
WHEREAS, First Night Fayetteville promotes an alcohol -free family oriented New Years
celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
Section 1 That the City Council hereby approves funding for First Night Fayetteville,
a non-profit organization, in the total amount of $12,000, for activities for New Years 1999.
Section 7 The aforementioned grant of $12,000 is contingent upon all records of the
expenditure of these funds being subject to the FOIA.
