RESOLUTION NO 68-99
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REVIEW OF DATA
RELATED TO THE PAUL R. NOLAND WASTEWATER
TREATMENT FACILITY BY AN INDEPENDENT ENGINEER
TO DETERMINE FLOW PROCESSING CAPABILITIES.
WHEREAS, the wastewater treatment needs of the City of Fayetteville are of primary
importance; and,
WHEREAS, verification of data related to the existing Paul R. Noland Wastewater
Treatment Facility is vital for treatment plant decisions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That an independent engineering firm be retained under contract to review
documents related to the existing Noland Wastewater Treatment Facility for the purpose of
determining how much flow into the facility the plant should be capable of processing.
Section 2. That the review shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
a. original 201 Facilities Plan;
b. original construction plans and specifications;
c. original contractor submittals and approvals, along with construction
inspection files, logs and data;
d. existing facility equipment, structures and related items.
Section 3 That results of the review are to be reported to the City Council within 31 days
from the date of council approval of the contract with the independent engineering firm.
