A RESOLUTION ALLOWING A RIGHT-OF-WAY
ENCROACHMENT OF 18 INCHES AT 24 EAST MEADOW
STREET TO ALLOW TOM TERMINELLA TO CONSTRUCT A
METAL CANOPY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:

Section 1 That the City Council hereby allows a right-of-way encroachment of 18 inches
at 24 East Meadow Street to allow Tom Terminella to construct a metal canopy. A copy of the
encroachment plan is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

Re: 24 E. Meadow, Canopy in Right of Way
This renovation project proposes to reduce the extension of the existing canopy along the south
face of this building into the right of way of Meadow Street from 48 inches to 18 inches. The
canopy which would remain serves not only as a horizontal band to tie this facade to the remainder
of the project but to incorporate down lights to provide a safer and more attractive public sidewalk.
Approval of the reconstructed canopy 8.-0. above the sidewalk, 18- into the Right of Way of
Meadow Street is requested.

ACTION REQUESTED: Tom Terminella requests to build the canopy of the building
he is renovating at 24 E. Meadow St. over the right of way. The requested
encroachment is 18 inches over the right of way with a metal canopy attached to
the side of the building and there will be no ground supports to the canopy.
