A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOHNSON MECHANICAL
CONTRACTORS, INC. TO PERFORM JOB NO. 98-7,
FAYETTEVILLE ANIMAL SHELTER PROJECT, IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $28,000, UNDER THE CONTRACT
TERMS FOR PLUMBING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1 That the City Council hereby authorizes Johnson Mechanical Contractors,
Inc. to perform Job No. 98-7, Fayetteville Animal Shelter Project, in an amount not to exceed
$28,000, under the contract terms for plumbing services for the City of Fayetteville; and authonzes
the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a letter agreement for services not to exceed said amount. A
copy of the letter agreement is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.

We propose to furnish and install plumbing and HVAC work for the above
referenced project in accordance with plans and specifications from the office of Perry
Butcher and Associates dated 4-2-98 and the following scope of work:
PLUMBING
>A11 plumbing as shown and specified except trench drains.
Plumbing not to exceed price $28,000.00
Voluntary Alternates (plumbing)
Alternate 1
Furnish and install non ASME rated tank for fixture ET -1 in lieu of rated vessel
Deduct $1,000.00
Alternate 2
Furnish and install mop sink type faucet for fixture HB -1 in lieu of frost proof
hydrant specified.
Deduct $300.00
HVAC
>All HVAC work as shown and specified
>Venting of incinerators by others
>No allowance for fire and or smoke dampers (non specified)

Note. For clarification purposes, on page P 2, sink in quarantine room is labeled S-1.
There is no S-1 on fixture schedule. For pricing purposes, I have priced this unit the same
as SS -1. Our cost for this fixture is $829 73 each.
