RESOLUTION NO 5 - 98
A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NO. 97-60114 THE AMOUNT
OF $130,317, TO SHIPLEY MOTOR COMPANY FOR ITEM NO.
1, HD CAB/CHASSIS W/MOUNTED MOBILE CONCRETE
MIXING MACHINE AND APPROVAL OF A BUDGET
ADJUSTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1 That the City Council hereby awards Bid No. 97-60, in the amount of
$130,317, to Shipley Motor Company for Item No. 1, HD cab/chassis w/mounted mobile concrete
mixing machine. A copy of the bid tabulation is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a
part hereof.
$ection2 The City Council hereby approves a budget adjustment in the amount of
$130,317 increasing Vehicles & Equipment, Acct. No. 9700 1920 5802 00, Project No. 97056 by
decreasing Use of Fund Balance, Acct. No. 9700 0970 4999 99. A copy of the budget adjustment
is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

Funding is requested to purchase a mobile concrete mixer truck.
Justification of this Increase:
The funding is requested to purchase a mobile concrete mixer truck.
The unit was planned to be purchased in 1997 and the funding for the
project lapsed at December 31 creating the need for a budget
adjustment.
Project or Item Deleted:
None. Sufficient cash & investments exist to fund this request and meet planned
expenditures for the fund and comply with City policy.
Justification of this Decrease:
Cash & Investments are sufficient to fund this request.
